Richard Price was always a genius but after the Philadelphia Experiment his brain evolved to the point where he developed psionic powers, including the ability to read minds and create illusions. He reported this development to his superiors at the joint US/British codebreaking project and was immediately transfered to take part in Operation: Alpha. After the war Price had a hard time adjusting to being just an ordinary genius again. He floundered from job to job before finally retiring and living in obscure poverty. He proved himself a hero once more, however, by dying in battle against the Minotaur at the beginning of the modern I-era.
