From Heroes of the Great Tree

“We need to change course.”

Yumi Takashi barked those words as she stormed onto the bridge of the Jolly Roger. Two men, both giants and identical in appearance, turned in swivel chairs to face her.

“Where to?” asked Mako, the one at the pilot's console.

“Belyx. I have a lead on another Osprey.” Yumi leaned over Mako's chair and pointed to a dot on the astrogation map.

“We'll be low on fuel when we get there.” warned Tiger, who sat at the co-pilot's console.

“Doesn't matter. We have to move. My contact on Paquin says this one's in a junk yard but was sold recently. New owners will be coming to pick it up any moment.”

Mako began working out the complex calculations, working with the ship's computer to plot the most efficent route from the middle of the black to the Rim planet of Belyx.

“We got a plan on how to get aboard?” Tiger asked.

Yumi's lips spread into a nasty grin. She plucked a datapad from the little, snake-skin purse she always carried and turned the display so Tiger could see it.

“This is the new owner.” she said.

Tiger looked at the display, then up at his sister.

“You're gonna need a haircut...”
