It isn't just adults who become Impossibilities. Teenagers, stuck inbetween childhood and adulthood, also develop unusual abilities. In the middle of America, a group of teens banded together as much for mutual support getting through life as for fighting crime. Most of the original TSX has grown up and moved on but a new generation has taken their place.
